I was tasked with creating a story that reflects the mental health healing work of the organization. By collaborating with the client, we decided on the story of a lotus. Known for its ability to grow in murky waters and bloom beautifully, the lotus symbolizes resilience and growth. When the lotus thrives, so does the surrounding ecosystem.
The book depicts the journey of the seed, to the flourishing life it nurtures in the pond's ecosystem. This mirrors the journey of individuals who heal and thrive despite their circumstances, inspiring those around them to grow as well
The illustration depicted the journey of the company, complementing their annual report. It transformed something as dry as a report into a piece of art, telling a story that could be understood without needing to be read.
